Janet Street-Porter Is Off The Leash

From a bolshy child with a Welsh-speaking budgie to National Treasure, Janet Street-Porter's life (and language) has always been colourful. As a broadcaster, television executive and newspaper editor she was at the forefront of some of Britain's most enduring cultural moments. Now she finds herself with a senior railcard and 4 ex-husbands. The nation's favourite pissed-off pensioner brings comedy, tragedy and gossip in equal measure.

THE ROSE THEATRE
We host a range of events at the Rugeley Rose and are continually expanding the range of entertainment we offer. Our theatre facilities are available for hire by local and travelling theatre groups looking to stage their performance in Staffordshire.
We can offer full technical assistance, a box office facility and bar and refreshment staff for a complete, professional theatre service. Our theatre can seat up to 210 audience members.

THE STUDIO ROOMS
Our two studio rooms are primarily used as dressing rooms during show runs, providing a spacious and comfortable area for performers. When not in use for productions, these rooms are also ideal for music classes, arts & crafts activities, and other creative pursuits, offering flexible space for various artistic needs.
The Rose Features
In addition to our outstanding hireable spaces, our venue offers convenient amenities including a spacious 35-space car park, with additional parking available upon request. Enjoy our large bar, featuring draught beer and a diverse selection of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. We also provide box office facilities and a generously sized foyer, perfect for welcoming guests and enhancing your event experience.

Bring your own media and Derek will guide you throughout the course. In warm, relaxed atmosphere you are invited to explore and create your own piece of art..

Slimming World
As soon as you walk through the doors of any Slimming World group, you can be assured of a warm welcome from your Consultant and fellow members – a bunch of really friendly people all at various stages in their weight loss campaign.

Rugeley Musical Theatre Group
8pm -10pm
We have been bringing live entertainment to local people for over half a century. We have produced shows and concerts in venues in and around Rugeley, Stafford, Cannock and at Alton Towers.
Rhythm and Boots Line Dancing
7:30pm - 9pm

Our drama and performance sessions for members aged between 6 and 17, aim to develop acting skills, and confidence levels. We have a production at the heart of each drama group, giving them something to focus on and work towards.

Thespian Arts Musical Theatre
Fusing drama, dance, and vocals, our musical theatre group develops long term projects with an end goal to perform. We believe that mixing with other performers that have different skills and abilities is a great way to make friends and also become inspired.
